Dr. Slade McSheehy was selected as the new superintendent for the Bremerton School District starting July 1, 2025.

About Dr. Slade McSheehy

Dr. Slade McSheehy is the superintendent for the Bremerton School District. Prior to joining the Bremerton School District, Dr. McSheehy served as the superintendent for the Vashon Island School District. He’s also served as the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning and middle school principal in the Hockinson School District, and high school assistant principal at Prairie High School.

Dr. McSheehy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies/French and his Master's degree in school counseling from California State University in Long Beach. He earned his Doctorate in educational leadership from Washington State University.
