Facility Rentals

Facility Rentals

We invite the community to utilize our facilities, for a fee, during non-school hours.

Getting Started

We encourage public use of our facilities when school is not in session. A fee is required to ensure that educational funds remain dedicated to their intended purpose.

Priority for using District facilities are given to groups (A-E) in the following order:

  1. District-sponsored (Group A) activities, including curricular and co-curricular functions.
  2. Non-profit Bremerton youth groups (B) and community recreation/betterment programs (C).
  3. Other non-community or non-profit community organizations (D).
  4. Profit-generating/commercial enterprises (E)

Authorization to use school facilities does not imply endorsement of the activity, group, or its purposes. As public property, District facilities require that organizations renting them allow general public access to events. The District does not provide space for private parties or events with restricted attendance.

The cost for renting District facilities varies based on the type of organization and the specific part of the facility being rented.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The cost to rent District facilities varies based on the type of organization and the specific facility. Categories and general cost estimates are outlined in the Facility Usage Rates chart.

  • Non-school organizations must provide proof of liability insurance with at least $1 million coverage listing Bremerton School District as a certificate holder. The certificate must include the statement: “The Certificate Holder is an additional insured with respect to the use of their facilities by the user group.” Submit the insurance certificate before the event via mail or fax to 360-473-1041.

Youth sports groups are required to submit a compliance statement, and ensure coach documentation is on file.

  • The District receives facility requests from organizations county-wide that provide enrichment opportunities for our youth and citizens.  We value and encourage collaboration for and between all facility users to work with us so that we are able to provide facilities for as many groups as possible. Enhanced by this collaboration, second priority will be given to non-profit local youth group organizations (B) and community recreation/betterment programs (C), and third priority will be shared by other non-community or non-profit community organization groups (D). Last priority will be given to profit-generating/commercial enterprises users (E).
