Give your child the best start in school. Our Jump Start for Kindergarten program helps prepare your child for a successful kindergarten experience.

Jump Start to Kindergarten

Jump Start to Kindergarten is a partial-day program for students that will be entering kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year. During Jump Start students will learn and practice school routines, social skills, and ensure they are ready for kindergarten! Our program is also fully integrated with our developmental preschool classrooms.

Eligibility

Jump Start to Kindergarten is open to preschool aged children who reside in the Bremerton School District boundaries and who will be enrolled in kindergarten in the Bremerton School District for the following school year. 

Program fees: $25

There is a one-time $25 program fee to cover supplies and snacks for the program. This fee should be paid prior to your child starting the program. Families will receive confirmation of program enrollment and payment instructions.

We have a limited number of scholarships - if you are interested please inquire during registration.

2024-25 Jump Start schedule & sites

For 2024-25, we are offering fall and spring sessions at Crownhill Elementary and View Ridge Elementary Arts Academy.

  • Fall Session: September 30 - January 30
  • Spring Session: February 10 - June 6 (registration now open)

We are offering a six-month session from December 5 - June 6 at Naval Avenue Elementary (spots still available!)

We will have both morning and & afternoon classes for all locations! Jump start is held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

  • Morning session hours: 9:00 a.m. -11:45 a.m. 
  • Afternoon  session hours: 12:45 p.m. -3:30 p.m.
