Smarter Balanced Test Results available next week

Every spring, students in grades 3-8 and 10 take the Washington Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment (SBA) in English language arts (ELA). This assessment measures students' performance on the Washington K-12 Learning Standards for ELA, which describes what students should know and be able to do at the end of each grade level. The Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment was created to help policy makers, educators, and the public to understand and support the educational system in Washington state.

Next week families will be notified when SBA test scores will be available for viewing/downloading in Skyward Family Access. If you need help accessing Family Access or Skyward, please contact your child's school.

Report Cards

Elementary report cards will be available in Skyward by end-of-day on June 20.

Middle and high school report cards will be available in Skyward by end-of-day June 27.

Need help accessing your child's report card? Here are step-by-step instructions! If you need help accessing Family Access or Skyward, please contact your child's school.

2025 Summer Meal Program (updated flyer!)

Bremerton School District's summer meals program ensures that all students have access to healthy meals throughout the summer.

Through SUN Meals, kids age 18 or under (or students enrolled in the District, up to age 21) can eat meals and snacks during the summer at no cost at schools, parks, and other neighborhood locations. This important program provides nutritious meals for kids and teens in the summer when school is out.

View/download the flyer from our website (In English and Spanish).

Summer Learning Opportunities

For the summer of 2025, the Bremerton School District will offer summer learning opportunities for high school students to make-up and complete credits.

We are also compiling information about summer learning opportunities for all ages on our website.

Reminder: NO fireworks on District property!

For everyone's safety and to protect our schools and your tax dollars, please remember that fireworks are not allowed on district property. Thank you!
