Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering

Volunteering with the Bremerton School District is an incredible way to make a lasting impact on our students, staff, and community. We are deeply grateful for the time and energy our volunteers dedicate, as their support plays a vital role in fostering an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging, believing in one another, and becoming their best selves.

By giving your time, you help create meaningful connections and provide valuable assistance that enhances the educational experience for all. Together, we can build a stronger, more supportive community where every student thrives.

Getting Started

If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to your child’s teacher or school, or the school at which you’d like to volunteer to see if there are any current volunteer opportunities. If there is an opportunity that fits with your skills, interests and schedule, the school’s volunteer coordinator will get you the information you need to start the volunteer approval process. Please review the more detailed information on our volunteer approval process below.

Tax Breaks for Seniors

If you’re 62 or older, your volunteer service may also qualify you for a tax break.
