Congratulations Castor Buhman for being selected to the Washington World Fellows Program!

Castor Buhman, a sophomore AVID student, was recently selected to the Washington World Fellows program. This program picks fifteen students from the state of Washington through a rigorous application process. It is a 2.5 year college prep and study abroad program meant to help cultivate world awareness and leadership among those chosen. Castor is excited about this opportunity to represent his school, both in the state and abroad. His future plan is to become a science teacher, and he feels that this opportunity will help him along this path. His AVID teacher, Mrs. Faxon, says about Castor, "He is the perfect teammate, willing to be a leader or a team player, and will add a lot to this program." Congratulations, Castor!
