We have recently announced some changes for the 2022-23 school year:

• West Hills STEM Academy (WHSA) is transitioning from a K-8 school to a K-5 elementary school. This means all middle school students in the Bremerton School District will attend Mountain View Middle School (MVMS) starting in the 2022-23 school year. Read the announcement
• Naval Avenue Early Learning Center is changing to Naval Avenue Elementary School, serving students in grades K-5. Read the announcement

• The Bremerton School District is pleased to welcome Sam Cameron as the principal at Crownhill Elementary School starting in the 2022-23 school year. Read the announcement!
• Kitsap Lake Elementary principal Karen Rommen is taking a new position at the District Officce.  Read the letter to KLE families. 
• Naval Avenue Early Learning Center principal John Welsh will serve as District COVID supervisor for 2022-23 Read the letter to Naval Avenue families.

• Kimberly Powell has been named principal for Naval Avenue Elementary starting in the fall. Read the announcement.
• Carly Takata has been named principal for Kitsap Lake Elementary. Read the announcement.
• John Fisher has accepted the position of Director of Facilities and Small Works Projects. John replaces Dave Herrington who retired this spring.
