Washington State Library Grant

West Hill's library received a Washington State Library Grant for nonfiction books. We chose to add  4- 8 grade  interest level books to our collection.

The books focus on STEM themes along with technology and real world science topics/people. Some books are "how to" others explore careers or celebrate people in the STEM fields. So step through the library threshold and check out some great books!
I am wanting to take photos  of students using the books. If you are using the books in class or are having kids check out the books, let me know and I'll come by to take photos.

Here are a sample of some the books:
  • Internet Security
  • Super Gear Nanotechnology
  • Key Discoveries in Engineering
  • Heroes of the Environment
  • Asteroid Strike
  • Computer Graphics
  • Forensic Technology
  • Great White Shark Scientist
  • How to Build a Prize Winning Robot
  • Inside Biosphere 2
  • Sports Medicine
  • And 30 more ....
