Employee Assistance Program (EAP)The District provides each employee with access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP is a confidential assessment and referral program. It allows you or a family member to receive short-term counseling, at no cost, for the purpose of discussing issues or problems that could disrupt your work or personal life. This service is delivered by First Choice Health EAP.
The EAP can help you address a wide variety of issues including:
- Marital or family problems
- Substance abuse
- Problems with debt or credit
- Work performance problems
- Mental health concerns
- Legal matters
- And a wide range of other concerns that arise as a result of the conflicts and demands of contemporary life
