    In light of the McCleary v. Washington decision, and the continuing debate about education reform, the Legislature will certainlyspend much of its time debating the state of our schools during this year’s legislative session. This increased attention is welcome, but sometimes the details can become distorted.

     

    OSPI has developed information that attempts to show where Washington stands in education today. It describes how we measure student success and recent assessment results, the progress we’ve made on accountability and reform, and how we compare to other states in our per-pupil funding.  Additional information is available here.
