Update for 2021

  • The 2021 Back-to-School Fair is cancelled for 2021.

We have made the difficult decision to cancel our annual Back-to-School Fair again this year.

While the state has "reopened," schools must still adhere to state guidelines which require 3- and 6-feet of social distancing for any activities on District property. This would be very difficult to manage at an event as big as our Back-to-School Fair.

The Bremerton School District hopes to bring the event back in 2022.

School Supplies

  • Click here for updates on school supplies for 2021-22.

  • Because the Bremerton School District is providing most of the school supplies for 2021-22 using COVID funding, we are not accepting donations at this time. We encourage you to consider donating school supplies to the Marvin Williams Center or Coffee Oasis for their Back-to-School events, or donating non-perishable food or hygiene items to Stand-Up For Kids or Bremerton Backpack Brigade.

The following is a list of food items most needed by the Backpack Brigade:

The most used item (sent out every week) is canned protein, including chicken, tuna, chili, refried beans, peanut butter, Vienna sausage, salmon, etc.

    • We also send home some of these every week:
    • boxed Mac and cheese (not the microwavable kind) most weeks.
    • pastas or rice and sauces to make them a meal
    • boxed cold cereal or microwavable oatmeal packets
    • canned vegetables
    • “Helper” type boxed meals
    • instant potatoes
    • pudding cups/granola bars/small packets of cookies or crackers

Information for Community Resource Fair participants

  • We are sad to announce that we cannot hold our Community Resource Fair at our Back-to-School Fair this year.

We have two opportunities for local community organizations to provide information to our students this fall (in addition to PeachJar, our flyer distribution service which is an option year-round).

2021 Bremerton School District Back-to-School VIRTUAL Community Resource Fair

We invite community organizations to participate in our Virtual Back-to-School Resource Fair. We will post information from participating organizations on our website, and will promote the Virtual Resource Fair with our families.
    Printed flyers/materials
If you like to provide flyers/handouts for students to be distributed at our schools (at principal's discretion), please complete

We want to offer our community partners an opportunity to provide PAPER flyers for distribution at our schools (at the principal's discretion).
    1. The Bremerton School District and schools cannot make copies of your materials.
    2. Materials must be dropped off at the Bremerton School District office (134 Marion Ave. North, Bremerton) by Wednesday, August 18.
    3. Materials will be handed out with packets of information/resources at the principal's discretion. Some may choose to make materials available at back-to-school events at individual schools, but others may send materials home with students the first week of school.

We typically do NOT send printed flyers home with students. Please visit our website for information on PeachJar, our flyer distribution system. Non-profits offering free services/resources to students may qualify for a Free Community Account which allows for one free flyer distribution per month.  Please visit for information.

If you have information you'd like to provide to Bremerton School District students via the Virtual Community Resource Fair or as printed flyers distributed in our schools, please complete this form.
