Many favorite people such as Bill Martin, Mem Fox, and Lily Tomlin read books.  Each book includes an activity guide with a book summary, author information, picture and information about the reader, group  and hands on activities for students.

    is a school in England for students with special needs.  Their website contains games and interactive stories for students from 4-19; including cause and effect activities; stories to listen to and games to play.  Also includes videos to download and touch screen or touch window activities.

    The Tar Heel Reade
    r is a collection of free, easy-to-read, and accessible books on a wide range of topics. Each book can be speech enabled and accessed using multiple interfaces (i.e. switches, alternative keyboards, touch screens, and dedicated AAC devices). The books may be downloaded as slide shows in PowerPoint or EPUB format.  Tar Heel Reader also includes a  feature for creating your own books.  Since books are published on the site for a wide age range, preview the books prior to student use.
