Distribution of INFORMATION/ Materials to FamiliesThe Bremerton School District strives to provide families with information that can enrich the educational experience of our students.
FlyersThe Bremerton School District uses Peachjar for electronic flyer communication to our families. School Board Policy 4230 and Procedure 4230P outline the process the District will use to distribute information regarding non-school activities from non-profit organizations that have social, recreational, or educational value.
- Paper flyers from outside organizations will not be distributed. All flyers must be submitted to and distributed electronically by PeachJar.
- Information about activities, that advocates, persuades or proselytizes in favor of a particular political, religious, or social viewpoint will not be approved.
- Only materials from NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS will be considered for approval.
- Board policy requires proof of liability insurance for any organization submitting a flyer for PeachJar distribution.
Using Peachjar saves tons of paper and saves PTAs and other non-profit organizations thousands of dollars. Peachjar also elimantes a significant administrative burden for staff and volunteers.
