Volunteering in Our Schools
Volunteers make a major difference in the lives of children.We appreciate your support and hope that you will consider volunteering in our schools.Volunteering is a very rewarding experience. Our students and staff benefit from the services of volunteers. Volunteers help us reach our goal of academic success for all children.
Steps for First-Time and Renewing Volunteers1. COMPLETE AN APPLICATION ONLINEYou can complete an online volunteer application right from your home computer, or use a computer at one of our schools. You will receive an email confirming your application was received. Please note that response emails MAY go to your SPAM or Junk mail folder.2. PROVIDE IDENTIFICATION
AFTER you complete the online application you will need to present a valid Driver’s License or photo ID (it must show your date of birth) atANY school or at Human Resources at the Administration Building BEFORE we can process the required background check.PLEASE NOTE: It is unlawful to copy Military IDs for this purpose. Please bring an alternative form of photo ID to be copied.
- Once your valid Government Issued ID has been received and a background check is completed, you will receive an email regarding the results.
- After your background is approved, you will be able to volunteer in our schools.
