Substitute positions include: teachers, paraeducators, clerical, transportation, child nutrition servers, and custodial. Each Substitute position may require certain skills testing to be completed. For positions that require a certificate, please provide the required information on the application for the job you are seeking. If you are currently in the process of obtaining the needed certificate, you may attach a document with this information and what certificate you are applying for with OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction).
For candidates with out-of-state credentials, you will need to have a valid Washington certificate but please apply if you are willing to go through the process! We can assist you with information on the process.
