The Bremerton School District is proud to have 50 National Board Certified teachers and administrators as part of its staff. National Board Certification was designed to develop, retain, and recognize accomplished teachers, and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide. It is the most respected professional certification available in K-12 education.
The certification process is designed to collect standards-based evidence of accomplished practice, which are broken down into four components (Content Knowledge, Differentiation in Instruction, Teaching Practice and Learning Environment, and Effective and Reflective Practitioner), and can take anywhere from one to five years to complete.
Below are all teachers in the Bremerton School District who have received this esteemed certification.
