Social and emotional learning is the framework for our efforts to support our students’ social, emotional, and academic learning and success.  Research shows that social and emotional learning substantially improves academic achievement, and also increases positive behaviors (such as kindness and empathy), improves student attitudes toward school, and reduces depression and stress among students.  We believe it is our responsibility to educate a child’s character as much as their intellect – and that is reflected in our new video.  We hope it gives you a sense of our commitment to the success of all students in the Bremerton School District. View it full-screen on YouTube.
