It is a great honor to be appointed as the new principal at Renaissance High School. Renaissance has built its success by working cooperatively with parents and the community to provide a meaningful educational experience for each of its students. It is through these relationships that the staff at Renaissance is able to help our students successfully navigate high school. I am looking forward to being part of a community so thoroughly dedicated to its students.
Before coming to Renaissance, I worked as a teacher at Bremerton High School. In this capacity, I strived to create a safe environment where students could reach their full potential by identifying their individual talents and building on their strengths. It is exciting to know I will be part of a community that holds these same values in high regard and helps students use their gifts to find success academically and socially.
My goal is to provide leadership that will continue to ensure a collaborative school environment and provide differentiated instruction that meets the needs of each student. The educational program must be meaningful for the students we serve by linking the curriculum to previous knowledge and future experiences. It is my sincere desire to provide opportunities for our students to acquire the skills to influence today’s world while pursuing their future dreams.
Through a close partnership with the Renaissance community, I am confident we can make our school an even better place for our students to prepare for their life after graduation. Best wishes for a successful school year.

We believe that all students can become successful, productive and confident members of our society. To assist students we will provide them with an educational environment that is positive, recognizes individual differences and has high expectations for achievement and behavior.
We will work to meet the needs of our own community through a program that emphasizes: goal setting, personal responsibility, and choice.
