Bremerton School District

welcome to Mountain View Middle School

Principal’s Message

At Mountain View Middle School, our goal is to be a high-achieving school. We have made progress toward this goal.  We have made strong growth in the areas of reading and writing, and are proud of how our students are becoming more responsible for themselves. The learning atmosphere here at Mountain View Middle School is both positive and productive.

We are continuing to make strides in all areas of school culture, academics, social behavior, and responsibility. Our building goals for staff and students are centered on being safe, responsible, and respectful.

We are focusing on common assessments, school-wide writing prompts, and are a offering foreign language program to our middle school students. Our school is in phase 2 of a construction project, which will add space to our campus for all three grades to be on one site. That project will be completed just a few months into the 2007-2008 school year.

My door is always open as we welcome your input and suggestions. Thanks to the Bremerton community for their continued support. Watch us as we grow this school year in academics, responsibility, and physical stature.
