Student Orientation for 2009-10

At the Student Orientation, students will meeting their counselors and receive their schedules. The orientation will take place at the 7/8 grade campus.

Parents and students can visit the school for orientation any time between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm on the folloiwng dates. This is NOT an all-day event. No lunch will be served.

Principal’s Message

At Mountain View Middle School, our goal is to be a high-achieving school. We have made progress toward this goal.  We have made strong growth in the areas of reading and writing, and are proud of how our students are becoming more responsible for themselves. The learning atmosphere here at Mountain View Middle School is both positive and productive.

We are continuing to make strides in all areas of school culture, academics, social behavior, and responsibility. Our building goals for staff and students are centered on being safe, responsible, and respectful.

We are focusing on common assessments, school-wide writing prompts, and are a offering foreign language program to our middle school students.

Our doors are always open as we welcome your input and suggestions. Thanks to the Bremerton community for their continued support. Watch us as we grow this school year in academics, responsibility, and physical stature.

College Bound Scholarships

College Bound is a program designed to motivate and prepare students to pursue a college education. It is a four-year scholarship that will cover the cost of college tuition, fees, and books. Visit the WA Higher Education Coordinating Board website to learn more about this program and more.
