Bremerton School District

welcome to the alliance academy

Alliance Academy is Bremerton School District’s partnership program with families who have chosen to home school their child or children.

By joining Alliance Academy, parents will work with a certificated teacher for curriculum needs, assessment, lesson planning, teaching methods, activities, and enrichment programs.

Every student enrolled in Alliance Academy has an Individualized Learning Plan. Parents, the teacher, and the students review the plan weekly to discuss student progress toward the Essential Academic Learning Requirements.

Enrichment is a strong component of the Alliance Academy Program. Activities that develop social skills while making positive community contributions are central to enrichment activities. Past enrichment activities have included: Environmental Clean-up at Illahee State Park with AmeriCorps and Rotarian Volunteers, Tutoring, “Communities Rebuild” field trip to Seattle Underground Museum, and more.

Alliance Academy is located at West Hills Elementary on National Avenue. Students and parents meet each week with the teacher and other students. Please contact us if you have any questions about our program. We look forward to helping you with your students academic needs.
