Bremerton School District is one of Kitsap County’s “Best Kept Secrets.” Located across the Puget Sound from Seattle, the District is home to about 5,500 students. Learn more about the great things in Bremerton School District in our annual "Did You Know" pamphlet (pdf).

The District consists of

  • five elementary schools (grades K-5)
  • one Early Learning Center (grade PS-3)
  • one middle school (grades 6-8)
  • one high school (grades 9-12)
  • an alternative high school
  • Alliance Academy (a K-8 home school partnership program)

The District also hosts a 1,300 seat Performing Arts Center and the West Sound Technical Skills Center, a regional cooperative career-technical educational program for high school students.

Bremerton School District prides itself on meeting the needs of all students. Our Early Childhood Care and Education Partnership with area preschools, FREE All-Day Kindergarten Program, Special Education, and Title I Programs have received state and/or national recognition. After-school and early-morning tutoring programs are available to help students reach both their educational goals and state standards.
