Curriculum & Instruction
Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment
The Bremerton School District takes great care to provide high quality curriculum, programs, professional development, instruction, and assessments to assist our students in reaching their potential. Assessments and data help teachers determine how to meet each and every child’s unique and individual needs. Tutorials, interventions, and other district-wide programs, such as Walk to Read, allow staff to provide better quality instruction and meet each student’s individual needs.
Our staff is dedicated to helping all children learn and we believe that every child can be successful in school and beyond.
Please take some time to review the topics listed to the left as we update the community and staff on current trends regarding curriculum adoptions, the transition to the state adopted Common Core standards, the corresponding Smarter Balanced Assessment and the new Teacher & Principal Evaluation system.
Please contact Lynn Caddell if you have questions.
