Facility scheduling

Thank you for considering the facilities of Bremerton School District for your event or program.  The public is encouraged to use school facilities after hours, but shall be expected to reimburse the District for such use.  This ensures that funds intended for education are not used for other purposes.

Authorization for use of school facilities shall not be considered an endorsement (implied or actual) of or approval of the activity, group, or organization, nor the purposes it represents.  District facilities are considered public property and, as such, organizations renting school facilities must allow general public access to the events.

District-sponsored activities, including curricular and co-curricular functions, retain first priority in use of District facilities.  Second priority will be given to non-profit Bremerton youth groups and community recreation programs, and third priority will be shared by other non-profit community organizations. 

The process begins at www.MySchoolBuilding.com (follow Processing Steps below). Your request must be submitted at least three weeks prior to your event date.  You will hear from us within two weeks whether your application has been approved.  Please do not contact the school directly to ask for immediate verification or availability/confirmation.

(Important: If you have not recently had a scheduled event with our District, please email ioanna.cossack@bsd.wednet.edu to set your organization up in MySchoolBuilding.)  If you currently schedule with us, please follow these steps:
Click on the above link to enter the Application process.

  1. When prompted, enter your email address.  If you are new to our system, you may be asked to enter your last name and submit. If this is the first time your computer has visited this website, type in 777807509 when prompted for Organization Account.
  2. At the new page, enter the required information (indicated by red checkmark) and submit.
  3. Once you submit this information, you will be directed to the BSD SchoolDude site.
  4. Click on the second tab at the top of the page, “Schedule Request.”
  5. Complete your Facility Request.  Please call 473-1031 if you have any questions at this point.
  6. After completing the Facility Request, you will be asked for a password.  Your current password is “password.”
  7. Finally, click “Save” at the bottom of the page.  You have now entered your request for facilities use.  You will soon receive an email confirming your request.  Please review it to be sure it is accurate. 
  8. Your request will be forwarded to the appropriate site (that building which you are requesting) and you will be notified once the building scheduler approves it.  Final approval will come from the Business Office.  The schedules are activated only after we have received proof of insurance and any payments due in our Business Office.
  9. Once you receive your final approval, please print copies and always have your copy with you when using the facilities to show the appropriate authority at each building.
