The District is preparing to celebrate our new additions to Mountain View Middle School. The public is invited to attend a special ceremony on Tuesday, February 5, 2008. A dedication will be held at 5:00pm in the Library of the Main Building. Then from 5:30-7:00 tours will be available of the new construction projects. The projects include: a new 6th grade wing, locker room and a health and fitness center. Improvements have also been made to the counseling center and the library.
A similar celebration was held for Bremerton High school in October of 2007. Thanks to voters BHS now has a new health and fitness center, a science/classroom wing, expanded commons space, TV/media productions lab, choir room and various library and classroom improvements.
Next up for the District's Capital program... field and track enhancements. Planned projects include: resurfacing the track at Bremerton High School and create a new track for Mountain View Middle School.
